Volunteer Coordinator
Dana Lewis is a Volunteer Coordinator for Vanderburgh County CASA. Dana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy from Indiana University, and earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Indiana University. Dana joined CASA after serving as a teacher for a decade at Center Grove School System in Greenwood, Indiana. Dana’s teaching experience introduced her to CASA. Teaching for ten years provided Dana with experiences and skills to help her when working with volunteers and families who have children with special needs and/or speech and language needs. Dana’s background, education and experience has provided her with an extensive background to advocate for children who have an IEP.
