Christine serves as Vanderburgh County CASA’s Program Director and is responsible for facilitating CASA’s New Volunteer Training Program and develops, coordinates and executes ongoing training opportunities for CASA’s active volunteers. Christine began her CASA career as a Volunteer Coordinator: supporting and supervising an average 30 volunteers annually. Christine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University-Bloomington. After graduation, Chris served as a CASA volunteer for Monroe County CASA. Chris’ volunteer experience provided her with the foundation and passion to work with children and youth in need of service. Her volunteer work with CASA launched her more than a decade long career at CASA. As a former CASA volunteer and now Program Director, Christine understands that being a CASA volunteer is not easy work, but she witnesses people every day, taking time away from their own families and lives to reach out to children and families who are in crisis. Christine has also had the pleasure to work with other agencies in the Evansville community who support the families and children of CASA.
